THE STORY

It’s opening night of Murder in the First on Broadway, and nerves are high. The cast and crew are all a buzz backstage with the excitement of the lights, the sounds - and the dead body of big-shot Broadway Producer. There lies Jack Bialystock, shot in the back center stage before the curtain could rise.

Was the murderer a cast member, like Anita Part who’s making her Broadway debut tonight, or seasoned performer Sienna Stealer? Was it the sleazy casting director Colin Back, or a member of the audience like Megan Phan who somehow wandered backstage?

There’s only one way to find out: play the game Bullets on Broadway! But hold onto your overpriced wine—the murderer may be YOU!

Appropriate for ages 16+!

Mentions of adultery, cursing, catfishing, sexual references, life support, drugs, alcohol

This game takes 1-2 hours to play depending on your group size

fun game

We enjoyed playing in a group of 8. The directions were clear, but definitely need to prepare before you play. It would be confusing if the group is too big, so I would suggest less than 15. We should have spent more time mingling and sharing info about our characters. I wish the printable information was on separate pages. It says don't read the next part until the host tells you not to, but it would be difficult to avoid seeing it. I used sticky notes to cover up each section until it was time to read it.

An excellent game!

Played this just earlier today at a party. It was so much fun. We loved the characters and the format of the gameplay. Only issue is that the script seemed to favor some characters as more important (we didn’t have “Billy” or “Broadneck” in our game which seemed to cause some problems, and my responses as Megan were a lot less elaborate than my friends as Lue and Idina). But I still really enjoyed it and am planning to host another game by this company in a few months!
