The Story

It’s 1958, and tonight’s the night of the big dance-off at Al’s Diner. The whole town is abuzz with excitement, as the finals are going to be broadcast live on national TV! Click Dark, the host of “Dance-a-Palooza,” is in town, as is Ballou Swadeschuss, the big rock and roll star, who will be giving out the trophy. The contest is narrowed down to three couples and suddenly, there is a scream—Mr. See has been found, stabbed through the heart.

But who could have murdered him? A jealous contestant? A disapproving audience member?

Or could it have been—YOU?

Appropriate for ages 12+!

Mentions of bribery, underaged sexual favors, physical assault, bullying, prisoners of war, mysogyny

So much fun!

We all absolutely loved the Disaster at the 50s Diner! So fun creating a diner atmosphere and dressing up in the 50s style! I would have liked it better if the chosen murderer had more sinister responses to their questions. It was hard to tell the difference. A wonderful evening was had by all! We had 12 people aged 8 to 81!
